Learn about Common Inflammatory Responses

Inflammation plays a large role within our body’s natural defense system, whether it is acting on behalf of a normal healthy immune system or a confused one in which Autoimmune Disease exists.   Look at the following list of COMMON INFLAMMATORY/IMMUNE RESPONSES.  Ask yourself:  What responses have you experienced or are experiencing?  

Digestive

  • Abdominal pain
  • Acid reflux
  • Bloating
  • Blood or mucus in stool
  • Constipation
  • Diarrhea
  • Food sensitivities
  • Nausea

Joints & Muscles

  • Inflammation
  • Joint pain, stiffness, swelling
  • Muscle aches, pains
  • Muscle weakness

Skin

  • Dry eyes, mouth
  • Dry skin, itching, rash
  • Hair loss
  • Inflammation

Neurological

  • Anxiety
  • Blurry vision
  • Brain fog – lack of mental clarity, difficulty concentrating
  • Compulsions or hyper-focus (on food, germs, personal safety, etc.)

  • Absent menstruation (amenorrhea)

Whole Body & Other

  • Chest pain
  • Fatigue
  • Fever
  • Pain
  • Rapid or irregular heartbeat
  • Shortness of breath
  • Swollen glands
  • Temperature sensitivity
  • Weight gain or loss

If you are experiencing one or more of these symptoms does this mean you have an autoimmune disease?  No, not necessarily.  These responses can be just a normal inflammatory/immune response by your defense system.   The question is: do you know what is causing this response?
